What are the font costs?

Free fonts can be used at no cost. Commercial fonts can usually only be used when a third party has a license or a client license sharing extension and a client has a license. The costs for licenses are usually based on users/employees, followers/subscribers, and pageviews. The costs for client licenses for all uses with up to 5 users is $250 to $500 using my preferred house fonts. The costs for a third party license are $0 if using my house fonts or 10% to 50% for a client license sharing extension from my recommended type foundries.

What are the factors to determine the use of free or commercial fonts?

The factors to determine the use free or commercial fonts mostly depends on how a client prioritizes cost, originality, and legacy. A client who highly prioritizes cost may prefer to use free fonts such as those from Google Fonts, Fontshare, etc. A client who equally prioritizes originality and cost may prefer to use commercial fonts from an independent type foundry such as Newglyph, Swiss Typefaces, etc. A client who highly prioritizes legacy may prefer to use commercial fonts from a corporate type foundry such as Monotype, Linotype, etc.

What are your house fonts?

My preferred house fonts are SwissNow, Antarctica, Alaska, Baikal, Atacama, Crystal, Sunlight, Alpaga, Amazonia, NeoGeo, and Agatha designed by Newglyph. SwissNow, Antarctica, Alaska, Baikal, Crystal, and NeoGeo are sans serif fonts. Atacama, Sunlight, Amazonia, and Agatha are serif fonts. Alpaga is a monospace font. My preferred house fonts are chosen for their design consistency, extended glyphs, and perpetual all uses licenses. My other house fonts are all fonts included with the current macOS such as Helvetica, Futura, etc.
